Oboe plays Secret Garden by Rolf Løvland, the CD

The oboe will play the masterpieces of Secret Garden at the tribute CD

The Oboe plays Secret Garden by Rolf Løvland project is the first international musical project I will coordinate in my career. Its goal is to honour the masterpieces of the world renowned melodies of the Secret Garden using the oboe as the solo instrument.

In June 2016 I recorded a few demos in which I performed the melodies of Secret Garden for oboe and piano, which I then sent to Continental Artist Management - the company working directly with Secret Garden. I received a response from Mr. Rolf Løvland who had no objection to me recording a tribute CD and interpreting his music for the oboe as the solo instrument. My goal through this project is to honour the masterpieces of Secret Garden.

After performing many chamber concerts in Slovakia I have noticed a phenomenon while observing my audiences. They loved the classical music, but had a very strong positive reaction to the melodies of Secret Garden. For this reason, I have decided to pay tribute to this music with my own project Oboe plays Secret Garden by Rolf Løvland and will dedicate my time to this project for the upcoming period of my career.

I see my project Oboe plays Secret Garden by Rolf Løvland as a long-term commitment. My goal to convert early demo recordings to a new level of quality will definitely require hiring professional musicians, a recording studio and music producers to co-operate on the project in order to raise the level of quality of the recordings.

I am 27 years old and started on my musical path by playing the recorder as a child. I have been playing the oboe since I was 15 and completed my studies as an oboist at the conservatory. Over the last six years I have been performing as a solo oboist, accompanied mainly by my colleagues and friends, piano player Julia or Michal and Jakub, two extraordinary harp players.
