Jolanta Johnsson from Poland has created a indiegogo campaign. She is a Polish artist, her goal is to address the issue of water scarcity through a series of paintings which is titled as Drought. She says “In the absence of water nature dies, leaving behind detritus. It is my model. I want to call to all of us: Save our earth before it’s too late! I plan to present my paintings at exhibitions in Europe and USA.”
In order to make the dream of Jolanta Johnsson a reality, $10,000 is needed. This will pay for the following expenses: She is planning to paint 40 large paintings. The whole costs of the painting process (paint, canvases, renting studio) is approximately 5000 dollars and then to show the series “Drought” at prominent galleries in Poland, Sweden, Germany and USA. The remaining $ 5,000 will help her to finance the costs of transport (packing, insurance and shipping) and cost of producing promotional materials (brochures, catalogs).
