Hastings & Co is a micro-brand watch company that began in 2014. Our mission is to deliver high quality timepieces at an affordable price. We’re able to do this by skipping all the middle men, avoiding retail mark ups, and adopting fair pricing.
The Heritage Edition that is live on Kickstarter is geared to be an affordable, luxury watch. For this model, we really focused on delivering a very high quality timepiece at an exceptional price. We consider it to be the best value for money timepiece on the market today. We started Hastings & Co when we learned that most designer watches only cost $15 to produce. In comparison, that is the cost of our leather strap. We’re tired of consumers being taken advantage of, and have adopted fair pricing to combat the traditional retail model. I believe that your target audience will be very interested in this project.
Our Heritage Edition watch is inspired by the Bauhaus movement. The Bauhaus style takes a minimalist approach to design and features clean lines with bold, simple coloration. The design process was from the ground up in order to create a truly bespoke timepiece. As such, we used as few stock parts as possible. Our white dial Heritage Edition watches feature our signature blue second hand, while all options feature the following:
- Double-domed sapphire crystal
- Dauphine minute and hour hands
- 316L Stainless steel
- Water resistant 3ATM
- 20 uM plating
- Exhibition case back with custom perimeter engraving
- Date window above the 6 o’clock marker
- Genuine leather straps
- Butterfly deployment clasps
- 40 mm diameter and 11 mm thickness
- Piano black wood presentation box with a leather interior and certificate of authenticity
