We are all music lovers at Rock Jaw, it would be safe to say that between all the staff nearly all genres are covered. More than a couple of us have worked in the music industry in our earlier years, from DJ’s to studio techs & more.
The one thing that we all agree upon is that in order to get the best quality sound reproduction from headphones and earphones/ear buds, you have to buy high quality headphones/ear buds. There is the old saying that “you get what you pay for”, but is this strictly true? We don’t think so.
At Rock Jaw we decided to explore what was really possible. After a long development period we finalised the products you see across our pages today.
Sentio sound
Not many traditional full-size headphones use more than one driver, we chose to use a combination of two. A 30mm driver and a 50mm driver. 30mm drivers are often found in portable headphones that sit on the ear and offer good portability, but an often tinny and empty listening experience. Meanwhile, 50mm drivers can often offer a good bass response and forward highs, but forget about the mid-range - where a lot of the vocals in your favorite tracks are found.

Goal:
Our goal from the start was to design and engineer headphones that were made for everybody. After two and a half years of intense research and complex development, we have created a fully functional open and closed back pre-production prototype set of headphones.
