Cello Superstar Tina Guo has announced that her long awaited album “Hollywood’s Greatest Themes” is available for Pre-Order. The album consists of a wide and interesting variety of music in Tina’s signature passionate style making full use of both her classically trained Acoustic Cello and Heavy Metal Electric Cello background. The tracks include many beloved soundtrack favorites including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Star Wars, Schindler’s List, Kung Fu Panda and Last of the Mohicans. You may have heard Tina’s cello playing featured on the scores of Sherlock Holmes, Iron Man 2, Batman v Superman, Vikings, The Borgias, CSI:NY, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Diablo III, Call of Duty 2 & 3, Journey, Hearthstone, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and more. She was also the featured Electric Cello soloist on the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour by Cirque du Soleil for 2 years, performing over 360 shows in Arenas world wide. She has toured with Symphonies worldwide as a Classical Soloist, and her genre-defying playing has led to an extremely multifaceted career. As a classical soloist, Tina’s engagements with orchestras around the world include the San Diego Symphony, the State of Mexico National Symphony, the Thessaloniki State Symphony in Greece, the Petrobras Symphony in Brazil, and the Vancouver Island Symphony in British Columbia. She collaborated with violinist Midori Goto in Dvorak’s American String Quartet at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and completed four national tours of Mexico and Italy performing the Shostakovich, Dvorak, Haydn, and Saint-Saëns Cello Concertos.
