Runar Thor Njalsson is a 24 years old disabled boy from Iceland. He is trying to achieve his ultimate dream of traveling to New-Zealand and going on a special “The Lord of the Rings tour“. He cannot do it alone, so he need help from you guys, please help him to make his dream a reality.
Runar says” I was born 3 months ahead of time only 1kg/2 pounds and I have cerebral palsy. I’m confined to a wheelchair and will be all my life. As one can imagine being disabled in a wheelchair means you unfortunately can’t do most things you want to do. I won’t lie, being disabled is very difficult, every day you sit back and watch people go places or do things you wished you could do. But then it’s even more important to never give up and try your best to make some of the things you want to do, happen that brings me to the creation of this page”.
He is a Huge fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. The Lord of the Rings tour is a 14 day tour, to travel across the country and visit all the locations that were used in the filming, meeting the people responsible for creating this masterpiece and getting a look behind the scenes and just being in NZ/Middle-Earth for real. He has launched a crowdfunding campaign on gofundme as a goal of raising €27k. This target is a rough estimate of what this would cost (the flights, the tour itself and all the accommodations) he cannot do this alone and therefore he is taking a group of people with him to help him on this journey and experiencing this with him.
