We are a fair trade start up company that employs women in Ghana to create beautiful handmade bags. Every bag we sell funds one week of education for a child in Ghana. We have pledged to fund the education of 35 children beginning in August. We provide them with scholarships to put towards school fees, textbooks, uniforms, and school lunches. We firmly believe that no child should be denied their education due to financial difficulties. While we have raised enough funds to bring in our first shipment of bags, we need funds to start setting up our kiosks.
This company cannot happen without your help, and for every dollar you donate to us, we will forward it to the Aya Education Fund once our company begins selling.

At Aya Fair Trade, we are promoting a sustainable solution to poverty, one village at a time. Our materials are purchased from local market places in Ghana, our artisan seamstresses are paid fair wages for their work, and every bag sold funds one week of education for a child in Ghana.
