PetPenser

PetPenser is the first intelligent food dispenser for the pets we love controlled via smartphone.

The first PetPenser module consists of a chute (as seen in the video) which is electronically connected to our smart phones to feed our pets. After talking with friends, future backers, and veterinarian clinics, we have decided to change the design, and through this Crowdfunding campaign we will decide what the perfect final product for our pets will be.

The main or master module consists of a food deposit, a food bowl, and a control panel. The secondary modules are both food and water modules. For them to function they need the Master Module which has all the electronics to connect up to a total of 8 modules). You could connect 8 food modules or 4 food and 4 water modules, or customize it however way you like in order to feed all your pets at the same time.

We have developed a modular design that allows for different sizes of water and food deposits. A cat does not need the same size deposit a large dog needs.

We have also made it possible to choose from different types of food bowls. Large dogs which are more energetic need deeper bowls, so the food does not get pushed out or wasted; cats, however, need higher bowls that are not as deep. Moreover, we can add as many food stations as we want. If you have 3 dogs and 2 cats, our modular design will allow you to couple the modules and all your pets will be served.

We hope to captivate you and your pet with our incredibly practical idea! To reach as many users as possible, we have decided to make PetPenser’s electronics and software in Opensource Code. This way more experienced users can modify PetPenser as they wish to add functionality –remember this is only for users, not companies.
