With our 6 year anniversary celebration behind us, we are excited to share exciting news with you. In 2016 we will begin a new performance opportunity called “SOUND BYTES” which will be held in the PASA Lobby. We will be creating a small stage and once a month we will have “Open Mic” night with a different genre each month. Performance nights will include Classical, Musical Theater, POP, County and even Comedy. Lyn Rousay, our Musical Director, will be playing piano or you can perform to a karaoke track.
In addition, we are upgrading our Sound and Lighting Systems. With all this expansion of performance opportunities and more technically complex shows we respectfully request that you consider making a Tax Deductible Charitable Donation and help us acquire the next level of technical equipment needed at PASA!
PASA was formed in September of 2009 and we opened the doors with a New Years Eve celebration kicking off classes beginning in January 2010. So far, we have impacted the lives of over 1700 students.
We hope to add two CHAUVET Pro-Rogue R1 Moving-head LED Spotlights to our lighting grid which will allow us the ability to create many more dramatic lighting effects for our productions.
We would like to Up-Grade our Sound Mixer to a Soundcraft Signature 22 Channel Mixer which will give much more control of our wireless microphones and many more options with the sound effects used in our shows.
We also want to expand the number of wireless microphones by adding three SHURE BLX1288/CVL Dual-Channel Wireless Microphone Systems which will add 6 more microphones into our sound system.
For Sound Bytes we want to purchase a YAMAHA STAGEPAS 400i PA System for the lobby. We also want to acquire another Professional Upright Piano for the lobby. We have purchased the last 2 pianos from Alamo Music and they have given us great deals so we expect this additional piano to cost approximately $2500.
If you choose to sponsor the complete purchase of any of the items listed we will be happy to include you as a Season Sponsor for 2016 which means you will receive free tickets to shows, reserve seating and your name will be added to the sponsor plaque on display in the PASA lobby.
The total for all the items we are seeking to acquire, including the piano, is approximately $7500. We are very excited about our 2016 Season of productions and new class offering.
With your help we will be able to serve all of our students, cast members and audiences more dynamically than ever before.
