EdTech for 21st Century Lifelong Learning

Since 2010, The Research Masters has been at the leading edge of the digital content revolution. They have years of expertise and experience in conceptualizing and developing learning resources, marketed and sold by some of the world’s leading educational publishers, that challenge traditional textbook learning.

Now they’re raising the bar even higher. They’ve just launched their new initiative, Lifelong.Media, and are ready to develop their most innovative products yet, in a market where their experience and solutions are second to none. And they’ve got big plans to go even further.

Why Lifelong.Media?

The heart of Lifelong.Media is two-fold.

  • A content development and distribution system that allows the team to bypass the limitations of traditional educational publishing and deliver groundbreaking original and curated content.

Their data-driven instructional model builds customized learning experiences based on each learner’s Personalized Development Path™. And because they are constantly updating their learning collections, their content is always highly relevant and impactful

  • A focus on soft-skills development. Job-related expertise is essential in any profession. However, over the last few decades, research and evidence has shown that the application of soft skills is more important in determining levels of success, than just hard skills alone. Whether or not a person is successful within a career may depend on their ability to relate to other people and to work.

With a range of instructional approaches and resources, they’re able to address the needs of a range of learning styles and abilities. No more one-size-fits-all. Whether it’s an interactive video, animated case-study, adaptive core content lesson, game-based virtual simulation, or one of their many social-learning resources, their learning collections provide multiple pathways to knowledge and understanding.

Lifelong. Media builds on the success of The Research Masters to deliver the first of its learning collections, Project Nightingale™.

Project Nightingale

Project Nightingale™ is a collective of nurses and educators who have come together to prepare nursing students to begin their careers, provide current practicing nurses with ANCC-accredited continuing education courses, and create a nursing community that fosters a sense of professional support, camaraderie, and recognition. Because Project Nightingale’s™ content is created by nurses, for nurses, it’s not only want nurses need, but also what they have long desired in a professional learning community.

Product Highlights:

  • Continuing education
  • NCLEX® preparation
  • Soft-skills development
  • Virtual clinical requirement fulfillment
  • Personalized Development Path™ (PDP)

A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life™ is a learning tool designed to provide high school students with the resources they need to make informed career decisions. It is a platform where students and professionals can collaborate, and students can find the guidance and mentorship necessary for inspiration and success.

Students are often well-versed in assessing their academic skills, but many lack the ability to assess themselves within the context of college and career. With limited opportunities for experiences beyond the classroom, they often make choices based solely on their academic strengths or their perceptions of career fields.

Product Highlights:

  • Virtual internships
  • Access to meaningful information about career paths
  • Soft-skills development
  • Collaboration with professionals
  • Personalized Development Path™ (PDP)

Lifelong.Media Executive Team

In the creator’s own words: Since 2010, we have been the silent force behind some of the most successful products in the educational publishing marketplace. Our team has developed content for dozens of organizations in the traditional textbook, e-textbook, and assessment markets, who have then branded our content with their name.

But we’ve seen the limitations that exist in the marketplace. We also see the opportunities that technology and a changing educational landscape are creating. We’re ready to take it to the next level and build on our successes. With your help, Project Nightingale™ and  A Day in the Life™ will go from prototype to product.
