POP A TOP AMERICA is a light weight billet aluminum bottle opener 100% cnc machined and anodized your choice of 3 colors created by Alumalite Design.

Alumalite Design was founded in 1991 and has turned into a full cnc machine shop. Alex Selak has owned and operated Alumalite Design. Before starting his own shop he worked as a machinist in the aerospace industry. He has also owned a multi bar and restaurants and a custom paint shop.

But his heart is in designing and manufacturing and continues to design or update new products daily. Owning Bars and Restaurants gave him the idea to start designing products for the Bar and Night Club industry. They have designed parts for everything from ATV and Water craft to industrial and race car parts.

In the creator’s own words: As a former bar and restaurant owner, I felt the need to design and build this innovative bottle opener. Whether you are a professional bartender, or a weekend warrior, you will be able to open bottles of beer or soda with the nicest opener on the market. We designed it like the classic speed opener but we added finger groves on the side. Instead of heavy unattractive stainless steel we construct our openers out of 6061 T6 billet aluminum which we then your choice of three colors. Our final steps are re-machining to provide the silver accents, then we insert a 304 stainless steel insert which is designed to take the abuse of the bottle cap.

American Made:

The Alumalite Design POP A TOP AMERICA bottle opener is manufactured 100% in the United States. Alumalite Design has been located in Tempe, Arizona at the same location for 25 years.

Alex Selak has started a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of raising $1,000 in order to bring POP A TOP AMERICA bottle opener to market. The fund raised will be used to offset the cost of the tooling and fixtures.

There’re some good early bird discounts available, but you’ve got to be quick!

Delivery will not exceed 30 calendar days once funding has been received (for the first 400 units). From 401-1,000 units they need an additional 15 calendar days for a total of 45 calendar days after funding has been received. If orders exceed 1,000 units they will update the delivery schedule as required.
