CapHat is a new HAT for all versions of the Raspberry Pi, featuring an easy clip on capacitive keypad for unlimited uses.

Product development specialists Think Engineer are set to launch an exciting new accessory for the Raspberry Pi hardware. CapHat is a new Official HAT for all versions of the Raspberry Pi, featuring an easy to use capacitive keypad that gives creators and educators an unlimited array of possible functions to add to their Raspberry Pi hardware.

Simply clipping on to the Raspberry Pi GPIO Header, the CapHat offers a full, numbered keypad. and an expansion header, so you can keep on adding more accessories as you create. The CapHat is officially hardware compatible with the A+, B+ and 2, as well as the brand new Raspberry Pi 3.

The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board computers developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote the teaching of basic computer science in schools and developing countries. The Raspberry Pi has evolved through a few different versions but be rest assured the CapHat fits all versions of the Raspberry Pi.

The CapHat has been designed so it is classed as an official HAT for the mini computer. A HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) is basically an expansion board for the Raspberry Pi. Inspired by the Arduino shield boards, the interface for HAT boards was devised by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to aid creators by adding easy to use clip on accessories to expand their creative ideas.
