Alleys A Short Dramatic Film

Alleys is a short dramatic film, about two recently torn apart lovers, Josh and Lani, spending their day contemplating the question…is love truly worth fighting for? It is a story of a young skater, Josh, as he searches for answers in the streets and alleys after a confusing breakup.

Ezra Albarran has started developing the script a few years ago based on a personal experience. This story is important and relatable, as it’s an exploration of true love and the contention it attracts in this fast paced world we call Life.

MALLORY – Mary Rachel Gardner-Producer

Mary Rachel Gardner was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Known for her sense of humor and genuine presence, Mary Rachel has always loved sharing stories and challenging perspectives since early childhood. She studied at the USC School of Dramatic Arts Program and now currently lives in L.A. She has been performing since she was six years old; constantly active with dance, musical theatre, and film-making. While at USC, she studied Acting, Business and Film Production and also spent a semester abroad in London at a Theatre Conservatory. She acted in numerous student films and had the pleasure of performing in Top Girls as Patient Griselda/Nell, and Trystan and Ysuelt as a Love-spotter. Mary Rachel wrote, produced, and acted in some of her own short films as well. All of these amazing experiences have further fuelled her passion for entertainment. Mary Rachel is eager and ready to contribute her talents and collaborate professionally with others in the entertainment industry.

She has created Kalliste Zoe Productions to explore, capture, and share the wondrous beauties in life through film and storytelling.

Kalliste Zoe Productions is currently developing original stories, short films, web-series, TV shows and feature films, collaborating with 3CUT Productions on many of these projects.

A Kalliste Zoe Production is well known for its projects like Nightmare on Biebs Street, The Gentleman, A Night Without Friends and The Escape Plan Trailer. Kalliste Zoe Productions is onto the next movie project Alleys. In order to make the dream of “Alleys, a short dramatic film” a reality, $7,000 is needed. This will pay for the following expenses:

  • Hiring the  crew
  • Renting the equipment
  • Transportation
  • Locations
  • Props, wardrobe and food.

This is a low budget film that will be about 20-25 minutes in length. We aim to keep expenses for principal photography around $5,000-$7,000 while leaving the rest for post-production expenses. We are aiming to shoot towards early-mid October (2016).

Pledge $10,000 – Everything above plus an Executive Producer Credit
