A collective of fur friends

Share This:

I am an AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer, and its my passion to photograph Children and Animals!  Nuts?  Maybe. I adore capturing the magic , the friendship, and the naturalness. My style is dreamy, emotional and honest.

I make my living taking photographs of children and animals. I have had my images published in three hardcover publications by Harper Collins and ABC Books.  These images to me are personal. By self publishing I can produce the book I want to produce, the images I want people to see and enjoy. Producing this book is not about making money, it’s about sharing all the wonder and magic of these images.

Self-publishing also means that I can get the book into the hands of readers much quicker than the traditional publishing route, where it can often take 12 months or more before a title hits the shelves.

But self-publishing is expensive and risky. Funding this photo collection using Pozible means that anyone can pre-order the book, and some could even have the opportunity for their child or animal to be featured within.

Photography by Amy Curran is located in Oberon, NSW. Amy travels to most areas of Central West NSW, and other areas of NSW by arrangement. Amy also travels for Weddings.

Amy Curran is an Accredited Professional Photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.

Amy has also been working as a Graphic Artist for several years, and moved to the area in late 2009. Amy Curran has had her work published in several media outlets including Television Advertisements, Newspapers, Magazines and Business Stationery for clients.

She has been published in several Hardcover publications, including:

– ‘Outback Stations’ 2014 coffee table book on Australian life in the outback, published by Harper Collins

– Working Dogs’ 2013 hardcover book, published by ABC Books and Ruralpress

– ‘Arabian Horses in Australia’ series of hardcover collectors books, published by Vink Publishing.

Amy has won several awards for her photography. One of the most successful events being the 2011 Lithgow Annual Exhibition where she won several subject matter classes, and was then awarded ‘Best Colour Image’, ‘Best Black and White Image’. The colour image then went on to win the ‘Overall Grand Champion Image’ out of all images at the event.

Amy is highly regarded for her ‘way with children’, being able to obtain remarkable images of all personalities! She has four children of her own.

Amy regularly partakes in workshops and training sessions with some of the Worlds best Photographers to continue her skill progression and ensure her style remains modern.

Many types of Photography subjects are catered for, including:

– Families and Children – Newborns

– Women (Maternity and Boudoir)

– Livestock & Pets – Commercial (Business Portraits, Food Photography and Real Estate)

– Special Events (Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Debutante Balls and more)
